I simply can’t get over how beautiful Jamaica was. We spent our time at Couples Resort in Negril, and it was the best decision we could have made for our honeymoon. The beaches were beautiful, the staff was extremely helpful, and the food was amazing!
Usually when we go on vacation we’re rushing from place to place. This time, we wanted to just enjoy every bliss-filled moment and take a step back. The wedding planning was so hectic, then we jumped directly into the wedding weekend where we were constantly on the go. What sounded best was to take a step back and for once relax.
We spent most of our time on vacation simply relaxing on the beach. I read The Fortune Hunter, Matt read All The Light We Cannot See, and we watched the waves roll in the bay and people attempt to paddle board (we shouldn’t have made fun of anyone considering I wasn’t brave enough to do it myself!). This time was just what we needed to unwind after all the chaos and hype of a wedding.
We of course spent time playing tennis, I believe we hit the courts five times during the week! Although most of them were short periods of time considering the humidity and heat, we played in some clinics and made some friends over the net. We also hit the water and snorkeled, took a glass bottom boat tour, and spent the afternoon cruising on a private boat getting to see more of Jamaica.
I’m going to go in depth in a couple of different things over time, but I wanted to share some of my favorite photos from the trip first. There were so many gorgeous pictures, it’s hard to pick just a few!
