Lately I feel like I’ve been stuck in a rut. I work really hard on something, but it just doesn’t turn out as I thought it would. Then this morning, as I’m going through the motions of my morning routine, this quote I’ve heard a million times comes through my head. And today, it clicked. You can’t just keep doing the same thing and expect that somehow things will improve. Sure, progress comes from consistent behavior, and usually slowly, but if you aren’t seeing that progress at all, then there’s an issue there.
Today I challenge you to step back with what you’re doing in life, and make sure you aren’t on the treadmill just running in place. If you are, take a step off and find the way to a more positive and productive approach. You need to look at your goals and see if how you’re doing things will let you reach them, if not, then figure out how and start doing that.
It’s easy to get in the comfortable spot of doing the same thing over and over again, and it’s easy to complain when things aren’t going great, but it’s easier to bask in your success than it is to be regretful, so make the move and reevaluate what you’ve been doing.
I feel like I probably needed this this morning more than anyone, but I hope you did too. Let me know in the comments below what you’ve been struggling with and what you are switching up in order to see some real results! I definitely have my list of things I’m doing today that are going to get me going and keep me moving.
