It’s amazing how quickly time is going. Staring at a photo of us on our honeymoon right now, It seems like yesterday we had our toes in the beautiful white Jamaican sand. It will be almost 4 months since we got married in front of our friends and family in one of our favorite places, up north Michigan.
I wanted to share some pictures from the day with you all. This space is so much a collection of who I am, and this was such a defining moment in my life. Although it’s not really with the direction of where I want this blog to go, I thought I’d break my own rules and post some anyways.
I’m starting to get all of my prints and I’m thrilled with each and every one. I didn’t think it would be so hard to choose favorites, but it definitely has been tough! Our photographer did an amazing job, they are based out of Grand Rapids but traveled north for the weekend. They had such a great eye, and I felt like the photos they took really captured the day, nothing fake or too posed.
We got married in October in up north Michigan, so it’s safe to say we had a snow back-up plan. Luckily (God bless El Niño) we had a sunny and 55 degree day with peak fall colors. I’m not sure how we managed to pull that one off!
The bouquets and boutonnieres were beautifully crafted by Field of Flowers, but we put the centerpieces together through Fifty Flowers, which I highly recommend. They have DIY kits of flowers that already look great together, and their customer service was top notch.
